Dear Valued Customer,
In light of the devastating earthquake in Chile on February 27th all of us at Feldman Wood Products would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the people of the region who have suffered from this tragedy. For many years Feldman has enjoyed relationships with several manufacturers who call Chile their home. It causes us great pain to see pictures of the damaged infrastructure, homes and businesses.
As many in our industry are aware, Chile has been a large producer of paper and pulp goods and one of the primary countries responsible for manufacturing and exporting plywood as well as wood and MDF moldings. The epicenter of the earthquake was right at the source of our industry’s products and the ports from which they sail. The resulting tsunami tossed containers used for exporting, like pick-up-sticks, hundreds of yards from the shore.
With our building “season” approaching, this could not have happened at a worse time. In an already depressed economy, we will now have to deal with rising prices and potential shortages of the key commodity items. The damage assessment could take weeks to months to fully understand the effects this will have on our industry.
The staff and management at Feldman want to assure all of our customers that we are monitoring the situation closely and preparing to adjust our daily business activities to provide a continuous supply of goods. We want to thank those of you who have supported us and let you know that we are here to support you through these trying times as well.

The Maple Is In !!!
Arrived today, the 4/4 and 5/4 maple. The lumber is beautiful. Smooth like a babies bottom. Lengths are mostly 8' to 12'. Clear, hard white maple. Put some in stock and when your customers see it, it will sell itself. 100% satisfaction guaranteed. You tried all the rest, now try the best! Also, we just got one of the nicest loads of 5/4 red oak I have ever seen. Beautiful 8" and 12" wide boards. All lengths available.

As Feldman continues to expand our hardwood lumber offering, we are excited to add S4S maple to our inventory.
We will have 1x4, 1x6, 1x8, 5/4x6 and 5/4x8. The grade will be clear one face and it is hard white maple. Our suppliers know how picky I am, and I guarantee the quality of our material.
Maple usually runs heavy 8 foot to 12 foot and it will be sold by the lineal foot. Buy 10 foot or buy 1000 feet. And of course the greater the quantity the better the price! |
